Slot canyon with Warren and Ed

 Warren and Ed are leaving today. Warren for a conference in Las Vegas and Ed, home to Denver. (Even we are leaving today, heading west for home.) What a wonderful morning it was, even though Michael bailed on us. We went down to do two "easy" slot canyons that they had done before but either Mother Nature had erased the elements of hand-holds or the guys are a little older and less agile... the first slot was a bust.

 The second slot canyon was PERFECT for an old woman and I was delighted to be with the guys and enjoying the walls as they closed in... until boulders on the floor signaled time for me to turn around for the long climb out of the canyon.

 Red rock delicious. Have a feast at this lovely opening between the deep red sandstone walls of the inner Escalante. (Written with the last cup of Esca-latte as the Outfitters closes down for winter.)
