Quiet has settled over everything. Whoosh, what a day! I went to yoga, then the Farmers’ Market, then the Sustainability Conference luncheon that the GRUB folks catered from home grown food and brought by bicycle, then the peace vigil, then back to Farmer’s Market, then back to the Sustainability Conference then home to pick walnuts off the ground before yet another rain fall. Then an Obama Victory Party tonight and finally my neighbor’s stove flashed her in the face and there was the worry and first aid with her.
It was wonderful to see that students are really concerned about the environment and getting up to speed about how to protect it. The GRUB folks, who farm on Riparia, even got a “Greenie” Award for all the education they have been doing. I’m so proud to know them!
